All Care Physiotherapy has a comprehensive range of products for sale that assist the patient to recover at a faster rate.

Your Physiotherapist will discuss the benefits of the products and prescribe these as part of your treatment. Many products are useful to have on hand at home to self treatment, maintenance and reducing pain.

Below is described the benefits of some of the products we stock in non medical terms as well as some of the benefits. Although a consultation is recommended to get the most out of the products, products can be ordered without this. Wrap Around Ice Pack $30.00

  • We recommend the Lockeroom brand as this can be used on all major joints as it has a elastic extension to enable to wrap around the body for icing of shoulder, hip, back joints. Commonly it is used for icing the knee, shoulder and ankle.
  • The use of ice is an essential part of the RICE regime (Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation) to enable reduction of pain and swelling quickly.
  • They are a great product to have on hand at home for use on minor injuries at any time!

  • Anti inflammatory gels can be used to decrease inflammation and pain on most acute joint, muscle, tendon and ligament injuries. It will aide in reducing swelling quickly and should be used for 2-3 times a day.

Rigid strapping tape - roll $9.00

  • Strapping tape is essential in controlling movement around all of the joints of the body and is used regularly in our treatment sessions.
  • At All Care we teach many of our patients to self tape to assist in their recovery.
  • When tapping we use fixamull tape first on the skin as this minimises skin irritation. Rigid tape is placed over the top to provide maximum support and control of body segments
  • Rigid tape or fixamull can be purchased separately but the best method is a taping pack containing both rigid and fixamull tape.

Orthotics Need to see a Physiotherapist

  • At All Care we recommend custom made orthotics. To order these you must book a FREE 15 minute GAIT SCAN assessment. Gait scan is the state of the art computer hardware and software that helps your physiotherapist assess and analyse your feet and walking movements.
  • You will walk across a pressure plate which captures the distribution of pressure of your foot over time and imports this information in to the computer. A 2D & 3D image of your foot will appear portraying the pressure points on your foot.
  • A report is automatically constructed for you and your physiotherapist can evaluate this information determining what exercises are appropriate for you specifically and if a customised orthotic is required for your rehabilitation.
  • Your individual scan is then sent away for a custom made orthotic to aide in your recovery.
